The Captolia group was founded by Peter Adkins and Rorik van Welij in 2008, each with more than 10 years of online marketing experience. Previously, both worked in various international organizations on the development of internet solutions.

Together, they saw diverse opportunities to develop online concepts themselves which would be of added value for visitors. Concepts which would make comparisons easier, would allow consumers to share experiences, or which would enable the presentation of difficult subjects in a simple and clear way.

With the above in mind, the first concepts were launched and the first clients were hired on a 'pay per performance' basis; remuneration according to the results achieved for the client. The overwhelming success of the first concepts was the beginning of a new series of concepts and the careful launch of similar concepts elsewhere in Europe.

Besides the development of concepts, there is a strong investment in the company's own portfolio of domain names, which in the future will all represent their own, unique concept. These domain names are stored in Captolia ventures. The success of the unique concepts was at the same time the beginning of Captolia networks. The direct contracts in the financial sector became available for the partners in Captolia networks. Together with these partners, we deliver quality for a rapidly growing client network.

Presently, the focus in the Captolia group is on Captolia networks and the internationalization of existing concepts in Captolia concepts.
